I looked over the masses of youth. I saw a few hands raised to God, but what disturbed me was these people were not here to worship God. They were there to socialise. Feeling saddened by this new revelation, my heart broke.
Adam, the lead singer shouted for everyone to be quiet. This took three efforts.
" People, we're not here to socialise, we're here to worship God..."
This confirmed my realisation.

I am Monica. I am an advisor and a warrior, a spiritual sniper -I may listen, and seem hesitant to reply, but when I do, more often than not, His wisdom hits you between the eyes. I am a literary craftswoman. God helps me to process concepts through imagery in literacy. So I use my words to create pictures, and pray best when I have a picture in mind. I am a chaplain. God uses my chaplain heart to easily relate to those who are lonely, hurt or rejected. In the past, I have been through significant hurt which allows me to empathise with those who also hurt. He has shown me that he is with me through it all - not in a distant, watchful way, but in a way that resembles an intimate dance. He is my life's breath. I am Seen. Seen by my heavenly father, even when others don't see me - and often they don't. My weakness and frailty, my anxiety and reluctance is often the conduit for God's strength to be seen and his glory known. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Matt 5:7
